Alexey Nemokaev graduated from the Siberian-American School of Management of the Irkutsk State University, and the Faculty of Law of the Baikal State University of Economics and Law. He has a considerable expertise in managing and developing feasibility studies, justifying investments, and feasibility reports of exploration conditions of gold projects. He repeatedly supervised technical and economic audits of operating mining enterprises. Currently, as First Deputy General Director of Irgiredmet JSC, he is responsible for the coordination of complex engineering works performed by Irgiredmet JSC, including research studies, design, equipment configuration and construction of mining industry projects.

The determination of the lower limit of cut-off grade in case of comparative calculations using technological factors

- According to the GKZ guidelines, the lower limit of cut-off grade in case of comparative calculations should not be lower than in the concentration tailings;
- There are a number of approved exploration conditions where the grade in the concentration tailings is higher than the cut-off grade;
- All of the above examples relate to deposits with refractory ores;
- When selecting the lower limit of the cut-off grade for deposits with refractory ores, it is necessary to verify the economic calculations.
