Alexey Rudnev

Alexey Rudnev was born on April 17, 1985 in Moscow.
He graduated with a degree in mining engineer from the Russian State Geological Exploration University named after S. Ordzhonikidze.
He began his career in the Polar and Southern Urals, Western Sayan, Murmansk region and Transbaikalia exploration parties.
The main professional activity was related to work at the Federal State Budget Institution VIMS:
- engineer of the department of ferrous metals and aluminium raw materials;
- Leading engineer of the sector of ferrous metals and aluminium raw materials;
- Deputy General Director for Metallurgical Raw Materials;
- Deputy General Director for information and analytical support for subsoil use.
From 2016 to the present, he is the Head of the Department of Geology of Solid Minerals of the Federal Subsoil Use Agency. The main activity consists in analysing and preparing proposals for improving the regulatory framework in the established field of activity, preparing draft regulatory legal acts, participating in the budget planning process and evaluating the effectiveness of budget execution, managing the Office, planning research projects for the needs of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia and using results of research and development work in the practical activities of Rosnedrа, interacting with scientific organisations, scientists and specialists.
