In 1999 he graduated from the Gubkinsky Mining College, in 2004 - Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov. He earned an EMBA degree in General Management from Stockholm School of Economics (Russia).
He entered the mining industry in 2005, joining the team of the financial management of Lebedinsky GOK (Metalloinvest Holding). In 2007, he was invited to work in the parent company of Metalloinvest holding, where for 4 years he worked in the financial and investment unit, overseeing the initiation and development of strategic and operational investment projects of the company.
Continuing to increase his expertise in the mining sector, in 2011 he transferred to Severstal to the position of Financial Director of Olenegorsk GOK, where he implemented a number of projects for the transformation and automation of the financial function of the enterprise as a whole, as well as the reconstruction and development of existing production.
In 2014, he was invited to the position of Director of Economics and Finance of Polyus Krasnoyarsk, the central asset of the Polyus group of companies. Over 4 years, under his leadership, a number of pilot projects were launched, which were subsequently scaled at the company's enterprises: to automate various production units, optimise the workforce, centralise auxiliary processes, and reduce costs.
This year, Andrei and his team began to develop a number of mining projects in Eastern Siberia that are part of the newly created Ozernoe Mining Company.
