Unmanned magnetometery development. Geoscan Group experience analysis

Geoscan Group actively develops unmanned methods of mineral exploration, magnetic survey in particular. In 2017, the first tests of Geoscan Geophysics system were conducted. In just 2 years our company has become the main supplier of unmanned geophysical services in Russia. In 2019, Geoscan Group systems completed more than 14,000 linear kilometers of profiles, obtaining highly accurate magnetic field data from more than 25 licensed areas. By now our UAVs have surveyed Kamchatka, Khabarovsk Territory, Magadan Region, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Trans-Baikal Territory, Buryatia, Novosibirsk Region, Omsk Region, Chelyabinsk Region, Leningrad Region, Republic of Kazakhstan, Lao People's Democratic Republic and India. This winter we plan to perform surveys in South-East Asia, as well as on the African soil. Accumulated experience allowed us to develop a completely new magnetometric equipment, which includes such useful innovations as wireless data transmission, water and impact protection, auto-release system, sensor rotating mechanism for operation in southern latitudes, and much more.
