Mikhail Damrin, joined Kopy Goldfields AB in January 2009. Mikhail has studied engineering, mining and economics in both Russia and the UK, with an MSc degree in mechanical engineering, Moscow Technical University (Russia), a BSc degree in Mining engineering from the Tomsk Polytechnic University (Russia), a BSc degree in International Economics from the Russian Academy of Foreign Trade (Russia) and an MBA degree from the Cranfield University (UK).

During 2007-2008, Mikhail worked for Central Asia Gold AB as a senior project manager responsible for corporate development, M&A and planning. He has also held top management positions at West Siberian Resources, and Vostok Nafta Investment Ltd.

Kopy Goldfields - development of gold exploratiuons projects in Russia

Kopy Goldfields AB is a Swedish gold exploration company listed at NASDAQ in Stockholm. The Company has some 4500 shareholders. The company operates primarily in Irkutsk and Amur regions of Russia. The Company holds 10 bedrock and 5 alluvial exploration and production licenses covering total 2,247 sq km. Total resource base under JORC is 1.8 Moz.
Key project of the Company is “Krasny”, which was discovered in 2011 and has been developed since 2014 as a JV with GV Gold. Krasny has 1.8 Moz of Inferred and Indicated resources. During recent years, an exploration program of >80,000 meters core drilling was completed incl resource reporting in accordance with JORC and GKZ.
In addition to Krasny, the Company holds 12 licenses, grouped into two gold exploration projects –Maly Patom, a highly prospective greenfield project with an area of 1,940 sq km, and a new Amur project with 104 sq. km.
