Nikolay Sosnovskiy joined Prosperity Capital in September 2016 from UBS, where he was heading the Russian Metals & Mining research team. During his 10 year career as a Metals & Mining expert he also worked at VTB Capital analysing EMEA Materials and URALSIB Capital covering Russian mining stocks. Nikolay was voted the runner-up among Metals & Mining in the 2014 Institutional Investor survey, as well as other numerous highly-ranked positions in other ratings like Thomson Extel, both individually and as a team member. At VTB Capital, Nikolay participated in several milestone ECM deals in the sector. He graduated from the Moscow Aviation Academy with two major degrees – in Aerospace Engineering (M. Eng.) and Financial Management.
