The use of modern airborne geophysical technologies to improve the efficiency of forecasting and prospecting

Airborne geophysical technologies differ from other geological research methods in their special expressiveness, profitability, environmental friendliness, practical accessibility, ease of combining methods, as well as uniformity and high statistical representativeness of the data.

When prospecting a deposits of solid minerals, set of methods is used, including aeromagnetic, gamma-ray spectrometry, and one of the modifications of airborne electromagnetic surveys.
Time domain electromagnetic survey is far the most effective direct prospecting technology for solid minerals at the stage of detailed exploration.

When solving prospecting problems, an approach based on the identification of different mineralisation localisation criteria in the measured geophysical fields is implemented. In case the latter are not shown in contrast, statistical processing methods are used, including pattern recognition algorithms with training on reference objects.
The presentation provides examples of solving various forecasting and prospecting tasks.
